De-shed
Dogs rid themselves of old or damaged hair by shedding it. Mainly aimed at dogs with thick, double layered coats (e.g. Retrievers, German Shepherds, Collies, Shi Tsu's, Schanuzers, Wire Haired Terriers etc.) Lets help them out! and as a result, this will drastically reduce the amount of hair in your home.

Dry clip / Scissor
Full brush out, done as gently as possible with specialised tools, a clean out of pads and hygiene areas, before being styled to perfection with cordless clippers and/or scissor work. If necessary I am also happy to trim nails / dew claws.

Bath + Blow Dry
I am happy to bathe your dog and give them a really good scrub, keeping them fresh between grooms. I have shampoos, conditioners, facial cleansers and a super fast fur blaster which can be used at variable speeds to suit your dog, I will also provide a 'happy hoodie' if your pup is feeling weary of the dryer to make them feel more secure.

Puppy Groom
Puppies should start being groomed at 10-12 weeks old, after their second set of vaccinations. Even short haired puppies benefit from early exposure, as waiting until they are an adult will increase the risk of them not liking to be handled, not just for grooming but for general health checks, for example a lot of dogs do not like their feet/claws or ears touched. Familiarising them should combat such behavioural problems developing.

Clip offs
If too long is left between grooms, the fur can become matted. A matted coat can cause skin irritation and infections, which can in turn cause a dog to become lethargic and depressed. In instances where the coat is unsalvageable, it will have to be clipped off, so we can start fresh. No groomer is expected to try and brush through deeply matted fur, as it is time consuming and very painful for the dog. Maintenance is key!

Add ons:
-
Nail clipping
-
Teeth cleaning- plaque can easily be removed with a descaler after being brushed with an Emmi-Pet toothbrush (ultrasonic toothbrush for pets). This can help to prevent dental problems such as Periodontal disease (inflammation of the gums) and reduce bad breath.
-
Ear cleaning/ plucking- it is important to get your dogs ears properly cleaned during grooming appointments to prevent infections. Plucking is only necessary if the inside of a dogs ear is extremely hairy, to allow for a deep, thorough clean.
